Summary

COMPARTMENTALIZED WATER IN THE PORES OF BIO-GEL P-6 PARTICLES, A KIND OF POLYACRYLAMIDE HYDROGEL, SHOWED A REMARKABLE RECRYSTALLIZATION AS WAS OBSERVED WITH SEPHADEX G-25. AS IT HAS ALMOST THE SAME MOLECULAR EXCLUSION LIMIT AS SEPHADEX G-25, THE VOLUME OF THE COMPARTMENTS HAS BEEN CONSIDERED TO BE A PRIMARY CONDITION FOR PREVENTING WATER FROM ICE CRYSTAL FORMATION.
