Mathematical model of the flow of natural refrigerants through an adiabatic capillary tube.

Author(s) : YAN G. I., WU Q., CAO X., et al.

Summary

The relationship between refrigerant flow parameters and the phenomenon of metastable flow through capillary tubes are fully described. With the help of the model, refrigeration engineers can understand the thermodynamic parameters of the refrigerant better and develop capillary tubes with higher energy saving levels. Since this model is suitable for HC-600a and HC-290, it can provide necessary reference information for the design of capillary tubes for the above refrigerants.
