MEASUREMENTS ON A WATER-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP USING NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES AS WORKING FLUID.

Summary

THE PURPOSE OF THE WORK HAS BEEN TO CONFIRM THE THEORETICAL IMPROVEMENT IN THE COP FOR A HEAT PUMP WITH RELATIVE LARGE TEMPERATURE INCREASE/DECREASE IN THE HEAT SINK/HEAT SOURCE, WHEN THE WORKING FLUID IS A MIXTURE INSTEAD OF A PURE REFRIGERANT. IN ADDITION TO THE COP THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN THE CONDENSER AND EVAPORATOR HAVE BEEN ESTIMATED.
