REPORT ON THE QUALITY OF THESE PRODUCTS IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY IN 1979. THE AA. WISH THAT MORE ACCURATE DATA WOULD BE GIVEN ON BOUNDARY STORAGE LIFE WITH A SMALLER TEMPERATURE RANGE, SUCH AS, FOR INSTANCE, 279 TO 281 K (6-8 C), 278 TO 280 K (5-7 C), ALLOWING FOR SOME SAFETY MARGIN. THE HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION OF PRECOOKED FROZEN FOODS INCREASES BECAUSE THEY CORRESPOND BEST TO THE ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES OF FRESH PRODUCTS, PROVIDED REGULATIONS ARE MET AND USING NEW PREPARATION AND FREEZING PROCESSES. QUALITY CONTROL OF FROZEN FOODS IS INCREASINGLY REQUIRED. U. D.
