Summary
Three kinds of mixed refrigerants which replace R500, R502 and R503 are introduced. A zeotropic mixture of R22, R142b, R218 replaces R500; an azeotropic mixture of R22 and R218 replaces R502; and an azeotrope of R23 and R116 replaces R503. General properties of these refrigerant blends are given, along with several characteristics in uses such as handling, cycle performance, and lubricant and materials compatibility.
