Nondestructive methods for internal quality evaluation of agricultural products.

Author(s) : CHEN P.

Summary

A number of methods for quality evaluation and sorting of agricultural products have been developed by different researchers in the past three decades. As a result, many techniques are now being used commercially to evaluate the external quality of agricultural products. Many researchers are now interested in the development of nondestructive techniques for evaluating the internal quality of fruits and vegetables. Some of these techniques are reviewed in the paper.
