Summary

A model for predicting heat and mass transfer in a laminar two-phase gas-vapour-drop mist flow over a flat isothermal plate was developed. Using this model, a numerical study was performed to examine the influence of thermal and flow parameters, i.e., Reynolds number, flow velocity, temperature ratio, concentration of the liquid phase, and drop size, on the velocity, temperature and composition profiles of the two-phase mixture, and the heat-transfer intensification ratio.
