Summary
The operating conditions were similar to those encountered in industrial applications. A boiling test rig has been specially realised, in agreement with industrial partners, in order to simulate flooded or kettle type boilers. The bundle has been instrumented in order to estimate the heat transfer coefficient row per row. The data clearly show the influence of the operating and geometrical parameters on the heat transfer coefficient. Results are given.
