Summary

A MICROCOMPUTER-CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE-MEASURING AND RECORDING SYSTEM HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR CONTROLLING THE THERMOPHYSICAL PROCESSES THAT OCCUR DURING THE HEAT TREATMENT (COOLING OR HEATING) OF FOODSTUFFS. EXPERIENCE GAINED DURING PRACTICAL TESTING OF THE SYSTEM HAS SHOWN THAT INFORMATION GIVEN BY THE EQUIPMENT PROVIDES USEFUL KNOWLEDGE TO DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGY AND TO THE FORMATION OF CONTROL CIRCUITS MORE ADVANCED THAN THE PRESENT ONES.
