THE AUTHORS CARRIED OUT FOUR TESTS ON THE CONTROL OF ALTERNARIA CITRI PIERRE AND PIERCE IN FEMMINELLO LEMONS. AMONGST THE PRODUCTS TESTED, CAPTAFOL AND IPRODIONE WERE THE MOST ACTIVE, FENARIMOL HAD AN EXCELLENT ACTIVITY ; CHLOROTHALONIL, BENZIMIDAZOLE DERIVATES AND VINCHLOZOLIN HAD A DEFINITELY NEGATIVE EFFECT, PROCYMIDONE, CAPTAN AND FOLPET HAD A MODERATE EFFECT. THE FOLPET-CAPTAFOL MIXTURE WAS NOT MORE EFFECTIVE THAN CAPTAFOL.
