THE QUALITY OF FOODSTUFFS DEPENDS ON STORAGE AND PACKAGING CONDITIONS AND TIME. IT IS ADVANTAGEOUS TO PREDICT SHELF LIFE. PREDICTION PROCEDURES WERE DEVELOPED FROM LABORATORY TESTS ON DETERIORATION KINETICS AND THE TRANSFER PROPERTIES OF PACKAGING MATERIALS. A MODEL IS ESTABLISHED AFTER STORAGE CONDITIONS. THE EQUATION SET CAN BE USED FOR THE SIMULATION OF DEVELOPMENT DURING STORAGE.
