Summary
The paper presents the behaviour of forced convective condensation and boiling inside horizontal enhanced surface tubing of two ternary refrigerant blends proposed as R12 substitutes. Correlations are proposed to predict heat transfer characteristics, such as average heat transfer coefficients, as well as pressure drops of newly proposed ternary refrigerant blends inside enhanced surface tubing.
