Author(s) : DORAIRAJ S., AGARWAL R. S.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

THE PRESENT WORK AIMS TO EVALUATE THE TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF R22-DMF SOLUTIONS FOR ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION. THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY, VISCOSITY AND SURFACE TENSION HAVE BEEN ESTIMATED. THE PROPERTIES OF AMMONIA-WATER MIXTURES HAVE BEEN COMPUTED AND COMPARED WITH AVAILABLEEXPERIMENTAL DATA. OTHER THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES (THERMAL DIFFUSIVITY, SPECIFIC HEAT AND LIQUID DENSITY) HAVE BEEN PREDICTED USING STANDARD METHODS. CORRELATIONS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED TO EXPRESS EACH PROPERTY AS A FUNCTION OF COMPOSITIONAND TEMPERATURE.
