Summary
Following the more restrictive requirements of the F-gas regulations, refrigerants with GWP greater than 2500 can no longer be used. R404A and R507 are concerned. For some applications, the limit of GWP is 750, which has consequences for the highly used refrigerants such as R134a and R407C. Since the alternative refrigerant R744 has fewer safety problems than flammable refrigerants and its GWP is 1, the idea of making mixtures from R744 is making its way.
