Real cooling and warming rates during cryopreservation.
Author(s) : BALD W. B.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A finite element numerical procedure is presented for calculating the real time dependent cooling and warming rate changes which occur during the freezing and thawing of typical cell suspension systems in controlled rate freezers. This method can be used in conjunction with an earlier paper produced by the author to modify or re-assess previously published cell viability contours.
