Refrigerant mixture as HCFC22 alternatives.
Author(s) : SHIFLETT M. B., YOKOZEKI A., BIVENS D. B.
Summary
The objective of this study was to identify potential alternatives to R22 and evaluate their performance in a room air conditioner. Computer model simulations of a theoretical refrigeration cycle suggested that a mixture of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) might perform the same as R22. The air conditioner tests confirm the simulation.
