Summary
Theoretical air-conditioning cycle analysis was carried out for hydrocarbons and hydrocarbon mixtures, and a drop-in experimental investigation on the performances of HCFC-22, HC-1270 and HC-1270/HC-290 in a household air-conditioning system were conducted. Means of fairly comparing different working fluids and the safety of HCs in applications were discussed.
