Summary

In commercial compressors (capacities of several horsepower) where R502 is replaced by R22, special measures have to be taken to avoid a significant rise in discharge temperature, to maintain a good COP and compressor safety. All aspects of this problem are studied in detail, including the risk of oil carbonization and the special components to improve the operation of the refrigerating circuit. Y.G.
