Summary
Supermarket systems play an important role in current discussions on the environmental friendliness of refrigerating systems using HFC refrigerants. Based on years of operational experiences with the natural refrigerants ammonia, propylene and CO2, comparisons are made with HFC systems with regards to economy and the greenhouse effect.
