COMPUTER CONTROL LEADS TO IMPROVEMENTS BUT DESIGNERS NEED MORE REFRIGERATION EXPERIENCE. MODERN SMALL SCREW COMPRESSORS ARE BEING PREFERRED TO RECIPROCATING UNITS, AND MULTIPLE INSTEAD OF TWO LARGE UNITS GIVE GREATER FLEXIBILITY AND ECONOMY. THE BENEFITS OF CRYOGENIC FREEZERS ARE HIGHLIGHTED NOTABLY THE LOWER CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND MINIMUM SPACE REQUIREMENTS. G.R.S.
