Summary

THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE QUALITY ASPECT OF APPLE, PEAR, AND PEACH FRUIT IN RELATION TO MINERAL LEVEL OF THE TREE. THERE IS A NEGATIVE ASPECT OF NITROGEN AND IN MANY INSTANCES OF POTASSIUM, PARTICULARLY IN THE PHYSIOLOGICAL DISEASES OF APPLES. A VAST SYNTHESIS SHOWS THE IMPORTANCE OF CALCIUM AND OTHER ELEMENTS SO THAT IT CAN BE A GUIDE FOR FRUIT GROWER FERTILIZATION WITH THE VIEW NOT ONLY TO HIGH YIELD BUT ALSO TO BEST QUALITY.
