Replacement of R22 in existing refrigeration systems.
Author(s) : BUTLER D. J. G.
Summary
The paper reports trial monitoring work by BRE (Building Research Establishment Ltd.) of several building cooling systems that have been converted from R22 to an alternative refrigerant. Preliminary results are showing that in most cases there has been a reduction in machine cooling capacity and energy efficiency.
