Summary

A SIMPLE EQUATION OF A UNIFORM STRUCTURE HAS BEEN USED FOR THE DESCRIPTION OF SATURATED LIQUID DENSITIES FOR METHANE, ETHANE, PROPANE, BUTANE, ISOBUTANE, ETHYLENE AND PROPYLENE FROM THE TRIPLE-TO THE CRITICAL POINT. COEFFICIENTS FOR THE EQUATION HAVE BEEN DETERMINED FROM PARTICULAR SETS OF CRITICALLY EVALUATED EXPERIMENTAL DATA AND CRITICAL PARAMETERS USING THE LEAST SQUARE METHOD. SIMPLE UNIFORM EQUATION REPRESENTS RELIABLE EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH REASONABLE ACCURACY AND IT IS WELL APPLICABLE IN DATABANKS.
