Summary

WAGNER EQUATION OF A UNIFORM STRUCTURE HAS BEEN USED FOR THE DESCRIPTION OF VAPOUR PRESSURE FOR METHANE, ETHANE, PROPANE, BUTANE, ISOBUTANE, ETHYLENE AND PROPYLENE FROM THE TRIPLE TO THE CRITICAL POINT. COEFFICIENTS FOR THE EQUATION HAVE BEEN DETERMINED FROM PARTICULAR SETS OF CRITICALLY EVALUATED EXPERIMENTAL DATA AND CRITICAL PARAMETERS USING THE LEAST SQUARE METHOD. SIMPLE, UNIFORM EQUATION REPRESENTS EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH REASONABLE ACCURACY AND IT IS WELL APPLICABLE IN DATABANKS.
