Summary

THE TEMPERATURE AT THE BEGINNING OF FUSION OF FROZEN SOLUTIONS WAS MEASURED ; THESE SOLUTIONS ARE USED AS PROTECTIVE MEDIA DURING FREEZE-DRYING OF MICROORGANISMS. THIS MEASUREMENT WAS CARRIED OUT USING VARIOUS METHODS,EG ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY AND DIFFERENTIAL THERMAL ANALYSIS. THE VALUES OF TEMPERATURE FUSION WERE COMPARED TO THOSE OF MAC-KENZIE, WHICH ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE TEMPERATURE AT WHICH FREEZE-DRIED MATERIALS COLLAPSE, AS WELL AS THE FOAMING TEMPERATURE OF BIOMATERIALS DURING SUBLIMATION.
