Simulation of the scroll-type compressor using R410A, R407C and R22: a case study.

Summary
The refrigerants under investigation are alternative refrigerants of R22, namely R407C and R410A. Several critical parameters of the scroll-type compressor are evaluated. For the present optimized scroll-type compressors, the energy efficiency ratio of R407C an R410A can be higher than those of R22 by 8.4 and 1.3% respectively.
