Summary
This report has been produced out by the World Bank working group on refrigeration. The R12 replacement issue in household refrigerators is examined. Replacement fluids are studied regarding their efficiency, flammability, toxicity, and of course impact on the ozone layer and the greenhouse effect. Capital investment and operating costs are examined. Recommendations are formulated.
