THE ARTICLE GIVES A COMPREHENSIVE APPRAISAL OF THE QUANTITY AND VALUE OF VARIOUS FROZEN FOOD PRODUCTS FOR THE PERIOD 1982-83. THE VALUE OF ALL FROZEN FOODS INCREASED BY 7.9% DURING THE YEAR WITH FISH AND OTHER SEAFOOD LEADING OTHER CATEGORIES IN VALUE. PREPARED FOODS WERE THE LEADERS IN VOLUME BUT SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN FISH AND SEAFOOD IN VALUE. FROZEN VEGETABLES DECREASED BOTH IN VOLUME AND VALUE. OVERALL FRUIT AND BERRIES SHOWED A DECLINE BUT STRAWBERRIES WERE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER IN VOLUME AND VALUE. POULTRY ALSO SHOWED GAINS BUT JUICE CONCENTRATES WERE LITTLE CHANGED. G.R.S.
