Summary

THE EXTENT OF EQUILIBRATION OF DMSO IN THE TISSUE AFTER 10-15 MIN OF PERFUSION WITH DMSO AND AGAIN AFTER SUBSEQUENT WASHOUT WITH DMSO-FREE MEDIUM WAS ASSESSED BY NMRSPECTROSCOPY. THE DATA SHOW THAT NMR SPECTROSCOPY CAN BE USED AS A SENSITIVE AND RAPID METHOD OF ASSESSING THE EQUILIBRATION AND CONCENTRATION OF COMPOUNDS SUCH AS DMSO.
