Study of condensation of a pure fluid and of a zeotropic mixture outside a bundle of finned tubes: comparison of experimental results and theory.

Etude de la condensation d'un fluide pur et d'un mélange zéotrope à l'extérieur d'un faisceau de tubes ailetés : comparaison, résultats expérimentaux et théoriques.

Summary

The purpose is to characterise the heat transfer during the condensation of a pure fluid and of a zeotropic mixture, in order to show the effect of the temperature glide. This investigation gives also experimental results for three different tubes, K26, K19, and K11, having respectively 1024 fins/m, 748 fins/m, and 433 fins/m. Moreover the experimental results are compared to a model based on the curve condensation theory.
