Summary
The paper presents the simulation study and comparison of CO2 and R502 as refrigerants. Firstly, as a single stage vapour compression refrigeration cycle's refrigerant, CO2 can be used in subcritical and transcritical situations. Performances are studied completely. The results show that CO2 has the same or better performance compared with that of R502 in certain temperature ranges.
