Summary

Storage experiments with grape cultivars have indicated that Red Globe, Italia and Okyho cultivars can be stored for 5-6 months at a temperature of -0.5 to -1 °C, with the temperature reduced to -1 °C. The fruits selected for storage must be fully ripe with a soluble solids content no less than 17%, and should be packed in trays lined with film having a volume of 5-7 kg. Under good management, percentage rotting of berry clusters may be only 1.3-2.0% after 150-180 days of storage.
