Summary

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF LYOPHILIZATION AND CRYOPRESERVATION ON THE VIABILITY OF LACTOBACILLI AND THEIR ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY AGAINST 01 AND NON-01 VIBRIO CHOLERAE WAS CARRIED OUT. THE OBTAINED DATA SHOWED THAT CRYOPRESERVATION PROVIDES A HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF VIABLE LACTOBACILLI WITH STABLE BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES.
