The influence of oil on local evaporation heat transfer inside a horizontal microfin tube.

Summary
Experimental data of the local heat transfer coefficient were obtained for refrigerant (R12)/lubricant oil (3GS) mixtures flowing at a mass flux of 25 to 100 kg/(m2.sec), a heat flux of 5 to 10 kilowatts/m2, and an evaporating pressure of 0.32 megapascal for 0 to 5% oil mass fraction and pure vapour quality of 0.2 to 1. Results are given.
