Fruit was stored for 4-6 weeks at 0.5 plus or minus 0.5 deg C under normal atmosphere conditions. Fruit quality was maintained best by Bluecrop over a 3-week storage period, while Coville and Elliott were good for storage up to 2 weeks. Herbert and Patriot were unsuitable for storage under the conditions tested.
