Summary

PEROXIDASE CATALYZED OXIDATION WAS TAKEN AS AN EXAMPLE, AND KINETIC FEATURES OF ENZYMATIC REACTIONS IN FROZEN SAMPLES FORMED UNDER DIRECTED CRYSTALLIZATION WERE CONSIDERED. EQUATIONS WERE DERIVED WHICH GIVE A BASIS FOR QUANTITATIVE DESCRIPTION OF THE INFLUENCE OF ALTERATIONS OF PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES DURING FREEZING ON THE KINETICS OF ENZYMATIC REACTIONS WHICH MAY CAUSE CRYODESTRUCTION OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS.
