Summary
The energy sector is currently being deregulated and privatised in many industrialised countries. This is a major change, not only for the energy sector, but also for its customers. The Swiss company Electrowatt Engineering and the IEA Heat Pump Centre have carried out an analysitical study entitled "The role of heat pumps in a deregulated energy market." The article presents the highlights of the analysis report (see also IIR Bulletin, ref. 99-0664.)
