Summary

Tests showed that several hams precooled to 7.4 deg C and placed in a 7 deg C precooled "FRC" vehicle with the cooling device turned off, warmed up very little. The outside temperature was 14 to 16 deg C. TÜV calculations showed that only after 9.5 days did the core temperature of 10 tonnes of pork warm up by 5 deg C.
