Summary

CALCULATIONS CAN BE MADE FOR R22/R114 AND R22/R11 MIXTURES IF ONE KNOWS THE INLET TEMPERATURE OF THE REFRIGERANT, THE FLOW RATES THROUGH THE CONDENSER AND EVAPORATOR, THE HEAT PUMP OUTPUT AND THE < FK > VALUE (THE HEAT TRANSFER SURFACE AREA MULTIPLIED BY THE OVERALL HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT). IT IS GRAPHICALLY SHOWN THAT THE COP, REFRIGERANT PRESSURES ANDTHE VOLUMETRIC FLOW RATES AT COMPRESSOR SUCTION AND DISCHARGE DEPEND UPON THE < FK > VALUE, THE FLUID FLOW RATE AS WELL AS THE COMPOSITION OF THE REFRIGERANT MIXTURE.
