Thermodynamic properties of ice slurries: the detection of the freezing point.
Author(s) : LOTTIN O.
Summary
The author discusses the ways to compute the thermodynamic properties of ice slurries and establishes a method of measurement for the detection of freezing points of water antifreeze mixtures. He gives the first results (obtained from already published data and from experiments) for binary mixtures based on four widely distributed antifreezes. The dependence of the thermodynamic properties of the ice slurries on the characteristics of the antifreezes is discussed.
