THE DISTRIBUTION OF QUICK FROZEN FOODS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM CONTINUES TO INCREASE TO LARGE SUPERSTORES AND TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL CENTRES OPERATING AT LOWER TEMPERATURES ; IMPROVEMENTS OF THE DESIGN OF TRUCKS AND DELIVERY VANS PROVIDE A LOWER TEMPERATURE OF PRODUCTS. PACKAGING HAS AN INCREASING SIGNIFICANCE. BETTER STOCK ROTATION BECOMES POSSIBLE THANKS TO COMPUTERIZATION. < ROTATION CODES > FOR OVERWRAPS AND A QUALITY CODE FOR PACKAGES WERE ADOPTED. IN RETAIL TRADE, TEMPERATURE CONTROL SHOULD BE IMPROVED, AS WELL AS HANDLING AND STOCK ROTATION.
