Time-variable modelling of total refrigeration demand in meat processing.

Summary
A refrigerating plant modelling system for New Zealand meat industry requirements has been developed. It accurately predicts the overall refrigeration requirement as a function of time. It is easier to obtain product data rather than technical data. Good correlation between the prediction of electricity consumption and the data measured on an industrial plant proves the validity of the model.
