Water-lithium chlorate: evaluation of a working pair for absorption heat pumps.
Author(s) : LANGE C. A. G. M. van, OVING G. J.
Summary
The working pair water and lithium chlorate has some very attractive advantages over water and lithium bromide. It gives practically no crystallisation problems, absorber/condenser temperatures can be chosen higher, so space heating comes better within reach and efficiency under same working conditions is potentially some 5% higher. Corrosion and several other essential fluid parameters are subjects which are still under investigation.
