Summary
There is un urgent need to phase out R12 and R502, now used in retail food storage and display. R22 will remain available for a few years and its properties are well known, but it has a high discharge temperature. A number of plant variations were tried on an existing installation to find economic and practical solutions. Comparisons are shown. The test will continue. A.R.T.
