Summary
Effect of storage temperature (1 or 3 deg C) and time (8 and 16 weeks) and of the harvest date on the green colour, firmness and shelf life (mould) of apples. The beneficial effects of microperforated film (25 micrometres thickness and 50 perforations) decrease with storage time. This type of film must be used for short-term storage.
