THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF R134A WAS DETERMINED IN GASEOUS AND LIQUID PHASES, CLOSE TO THE SATURATION CURVE, BETWEEN 240 AND 373 K. THE TRANSIENT HOT-WIRE TECHNIQUE WAS USED ; OBSERVATIONS ARE ACCURATE TO PLUS OR MINUS 2%. PROBLEMS ARISE FROM THE USE OF THIS TECHNIQUE AND THE METHODS REQUIRED FOR THEIR RESOLUTION ARE MENTIONED.
