Summary
Mathematical models were used to develop a program for determining the parameters of a multi-stage turbocompressor refrigerating cycle. An analysis of the parameters was undertaken with different R12 substitutes, including: R124, R125, R134a, R142, and R318. Based on the results, the refrigerants R124 and R134a can be recommended for retrofitting. The results obtained on machines in operation are presented. C.C.
