Summary

The proportion of stable isotope, in mass spectrometry of a pure quick-frozen concentrated orange juice of 63-67 deg Brix, reveals a delta 18-O value of 1.428%. Beet syrups, on the other hand, have a negative value. Orange-juice samples, having a value lower than 0.89%, are considered to be adulterated.
