DYNAMIC VISCOSITY OF REFRIGERANTS AND REFRIGERANT MIXTURES: A PREDICTION METHOD.

Author(s) : LATINI G.

Summary

THE AUTHORS PROPOSE A CORRELATION BETWEEN DYNAMIC VISCOSITY AND REDUCED TEMPERATURE, WHICH CAN BE USED FOR PURE REFRIGERANTS AND THEIR MIXTURES BETWEEN THE NORMAL MELTING POINT AND A TEMPERATURE MARKEDLY ABOVE THE NORMAL BOILING POINT (IN CERTAIN CONDITIONS AS FAR AS THE VICINITY OF THE CRITICAL POINT). SUITABLE MIXING RULES ARE INDICATED IN ORDER TO ESTIMATE THE PARAMETERS FOR THE BINARY MIXTURES WHEN THOSE OF THE PURE COMPONENTS ARE KNOWN.
