REFRIGERANT FLUIDS IN THE SATURATED LIQUID STATE: A GENERAL CORRELATION BETWEEN DYNAMIC VISCOSITY AND REDUCED TEMPERATURE.

Author(s) : LATINI G.

Summary

A CORRELATION IS SUGGESTED FOR THE PREDICTION OF THE DYNAMIC VISCOSITY OF REFRIGERANTS. IT IS DRAWN FROM BATSCHINSKI'S EQUATION MODIFIED IN ORDER TO INTRODUCE TEMPERATURE. THIS METHOD GIVES RESULTS AGREEING WITH THE BEST TEST DATA WITHIN 3% BETWEEN THE FREEZING POINT AND THE CRITICAL POINT. THE REFRIGERANTS STUDIED WERE: R10, R11,R12, R13, R13B1, R20, R21, R22, R23, R30, R31, R32, R40, R50, R113, R114, R115, R152A, R170, R290, C318, R600, R600A, R1150, R1270.
